The Michigan Legislature recently altered the School Bond Qualification and Loan Program through Public Act 437 of 2012 (effective December 31, 2012). This law caps the loan aspect of the Program when the total School Bond Loan Fund balance reaches $1.8 billion (expected to occur in 2014).
