Erin H. Walz

Erin H. Walz joined the Thrun Law Firm in 2021 having practiced as an education and litigation attorney in Michigan, Illinois and Arizona. Erin graduated from the Detroit College of Law (n/k/a a MSU College of Law) in 1996-. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.

Erin advises schools in matters of board governance, student rights and discipline, special education, civil rights and employment. She represents school districts in contested matters in state and federal courts and agencies.

Erin is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. She is licensed in Michigan state and federal courts, as well as those in Arizona and Illinois. She volunteers for two State Bar of Michigan committees. She is a member of the National School Attorneys Association, and the National and Michigan Councils of School Attorneys.

Erin lives in the Lansing area with her children and dogs.
