Austin W. Munroe

Austin W. Munroe joined Thrun Law Firm in 2024 as an associate attorney in our East Lansing Office. He earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Michigan State University in 2020 and received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in 2024.

During law school, Austin gained invaluable experience interning with First Nation Group—a premier medical device supplier to the Department of Veterans Affairs—and further refined his skills with a summer clerkship in the Consumer Protection Division of the Indiana Attorney General’s Office. He concluded his Chicago tenure as a clerk with Buntin, Bolduc & Nardulli, a leading insurance defense firm, and contributed academically as the Managing Editor of Lead Articles for the DePaul College of Law Business and Commercial Law Journal.

Originally from Saline, Austin now calls DeWitt home, where he lives with his wife and their Goldendoodle puppy. Outside the office, he can be found on the golf course, experimenting with new recipes, or enjoying quality time with family and friends up north.
