Congratulations to all participants of the 36th annual Detroit Free Press/Talmer Bank Marathon! Thrun had 17 participants in different events including three Marathon Relay teams; Team #1: Kevin Harty and his wife Noreen, Monica Warner, David Revore and Jessica Walker. Relay Team #2: Meg Hackett and her daughter Beth, Dan Martin and his wife Wynne, and Luke Grzybowski. And Relay Team #3: Rob Dietzel, Jennifer Johnston, Ryan Nicholson and his wife Lindsey, and Brandon Walker. Kirk Herald ran the full Marathon, and David Revore's wife Mandy Tomich completed the half marathon as solo runners.
It was a beautiful morning in Detroit where we were joined by friends and family to cheer us along. This year marked the 4th year in a row that Thrun has fielded numerous runners in the Detroit Marathon events. We are already looking forward to next year's race on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Team Thrun looks forward to seeing you out there next year so put it on your calendars and don’t forget to train early and train often!
