Associate Attorney
Position Description:
Thrun Law Firm, P.C., a fast-paced school law practice representing over 500 Michigan school districts, public school academies, community colleges, and other municipal clients, seeks an associate attorney to work primarily from its East Lansing office. We promote a team-oriented approach to the practice of law, including active and supportive practice groups that are both fundamental to our client service and vital to the training and development of our attorneys. To ensure success, our associate attorneys are paired with a mentor-attorney. The mentor provides guidance, instruction, advice, and direction as you develop in your career with Thrun.

Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant Candidates
Position Title:
Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant
Position Description:
This position requires at least 2 - 5 years of experience in litigation support or state/county/municipal administrative proceedings. Candidate must be well-organized, self-motivated, attentive to detail, able to work collaboratively but with minimal supervision, and able to prioritize and follow through on long-term and short-term projects. Successful candidate must be proficient in the use of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred qualifications include experience with legal document management systems, experience with e-filing in federal and state courts, experience with state administrative filings or AAA arbitration proceedings, and ability to provide basic end-user tech support.
