Philip G. Clark joined Thrun Law Firm in 2015. Phil graduated from the University of Michigan (B.A., 2012) and Michigan State University College of Law (J.D., 2015, cum laude), where he was a scholarship recipient and an articles editor for the Michigan State Law Review. While attending law school, Phil worked as a clerk at the firm. He also has experience in criminal defense, prosecution, and intellectual property.

Phil is admitted to practice law in Michigan and various federal district courts. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, and the Ingham County Bar Association. Phil is also a member of the Michigan and National Councils of School Attorneys.

His practice focuses on general school law, real estate, student issues, labor and employment, and municipal law. He is also a certified civil rights investigator. He has presented on school law topics for individual public school clients, the Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators (MASA), and Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO).

Originally from Metro Detroit, Phil resides in the Lansing area. He is an active parishioner at St. John’s Church in East Lansing. He has completed several marathons, including two in Boston. He organized the firm’s first softball team. He enjoys skiing, playing ice hockey, and remaining cautiously optimistic about Michigan football.
