Brennan M. Ackerman joined Thrun Law Firm in August 2018. Brennan graduated cum laude from Albion College in 2015. At Albion, Brennan was a member of the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management and the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service. Brennan graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 2017. While in law school, Brennan was a founding member of The Journal of Business Law. Brennan’s paper, “The Fiduciary Duties of the Board of Directors: Cybersecurity” will be published in the 2019 edition of the Journal. He also interned with the federal judiciary and was awarded the Governor’s Scholarship for full tuition, the Rakow Scholarship for outstanding work in securities law, and the Silver Key Award for academic achievement.
He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. His practice focuses on general school law, and transactional matters.
Brennan lives in East Lansing. Originally from Charlevoix, Brennan enjoys spending time Up North. He also enjoys traveling, watching his favorite sports teams, and attempting to play basketball.
