The firm has successfully represented Michigan school districts in several high profile special education cases before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals, (Sixth Circuit) and Michigan federal and state courts, including Waterman v Marquette-Alger Inter Sch Dist, Dong v Board of Educ of the Rochester Comm Schs, Burilovich v Board of Educ of the Lincoln Consolidated Schs, Sabin v Greenville Public Schools, and Soraruf v Pinckney Comm Schs.
Thrun Law Firm also recently determined to publish a special education law newsletter for the benefit of our retainer clients. Using the Special Education Law Notes newsletter, Thrun Law Firm intends to better serve its clients by delivering important and practical legal information regarding special education matters directly to school officials who have special education responsibilities. We plan to publish the newsletter at least three times a year, as well as when breaking legal developments dictate.
