In fact, the firm, through the efforts of Robert Thrun and Kevin Harty, provided technical advice to the Governor and Michigan Legislature on amendments to PERA in the early 1990’s. Also, in Michigan AFL-CIO v The Employment Relations Commission, 453 Mich 362 (1996), we successfully represented the Michigan School Board Association in the defense of Public Act 112.
