Patrick Berardo graduated from Michigan State University (B.A., 1967) and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1970). He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Corporation, Finance and Business Law, Real Property and Public Corporation sections), the Ingham County Bar Association, the American Bar Association (Urban and Local Government Law section) and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.

Mr. Berardo joined the firm in 1970, and practices in the primary areas of public finance and election law. During his tenure with the firm he has been a practitioner and advisor in litigation, insurance litigation, environment and real estate law. As a senior bond lawyer in the firm he has litigated many election, tax and debt issues before the Supreme Court of the State of Michigan, the Court of Appeals, and many trial courts. Mr. Berardo has also successfully argued before the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
