Mike Gresens graduated from Michigan State University (B.A., with honors, Honors College, 1991) and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1994).

He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Public Corporation Law and Real Property Law sections), the American Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. Mr. Gresens has focused on municipal law, public finance, general school law and general civil litigation since joining the firm in 1994.
