Mr. Robinson graduated from Michigan State University (B.A., 1965) and Wayne State University (J.D., cum laude, 1968) where he earned academic honors and served as Chancellor of its Moot Court Board and as a member the National Moot Court team. He is also a member of the Wayne State University Mackenzie Honor Society.

Mr. Robinson is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, and the Ingham County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Robinson has appeared in Michigan courts at all levels, and the Michigan Tax Tribunal. Mr. Robinson also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, 1963-1969.

Mr. Robinson has recently joined the firm as Of Counsel and serves as general counsel for several Michigan municipalities (all types). He is peer review rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell® Registry. He also practices in the areas of zoning/land use, real estate transactions, property taxation, probate and civil litigation.
