Eric Delaporte graduated from Regents College, Universities of the State of New York (B.S., cum laude, 1999). In 2006 he graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School with a Juris Doctorate. While at Notre Dame Mr. Delaporte served as the Notes Editor for the Journal of College and University Law, a law journal devoted to legal issues in education, and served as a member of the national moot court team. Mr. Delaporte is a member of the Ingham County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and the State Bar of Michigan.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Delaporte served several tours in the military, managed teamsters in New York and Chicago, and taught at a nuclear plant in Michigan. His practice focuses on general school law, the federal Universal Services Fund E-rate program, labor and employment law, and general civil litigation.
